Hope Over Asia
was birthed out of a burden to reach the unreached of Asia through church planting. Our vision is to plant life-giving churches in Asia that the unreached love to attend.
We believe the local church is the hope of the world, and church planting is Jesus’ one and only plan to make the Great Commission the Great Completion! As the church, it’s on us to let the unreached know that hope has a name, and His name is Jesus!
Why Bangkok? To reach Asia, there really is no better city to base out of than Bangkok, which has quickly become the new hub city of Asia. Besides being one of the most unreached, Gospel-needy cities in the world, Bangkok has also been the most visited city in the world for four years running, welcoming nearly 23 million visitors in 2019 alone! Thailand as a whole is over 80% unreached - 94% Buddhist, 5% Muslim, and just 1% Christian. In addition, Bangkok has the largest Chinese population of any city outside of China!
While in Bangkok, we will be working with the team at Bridge Church, a growing church plant that has a strong vision to reach Asia and disciple the nations through church planting.
Through church planting in Asia amongst the unreached in the last 5 years, we’ve seen over 2,000 first-time salvation decisions, and the Gospel take root in areas where it had never gone before…in unreached areas of China, Sri Lanka, Tibet, and Thailand.
